Start of development post jam

Now that the jam is over and after exploring the concept I realized that it has potential for creating interesting gameplay scenarios which motivated me to keep developing it on my free time.

However, the game will no longer be a 2D game and therefore won't be developed using GDevelop.  The reason for that is that a 2D view makes me feel restricted when it comes to the visual asset creation. The reason I was using simple shapes was just for prototyping purposes but I want it to have more interesting characters so, the game will resume development in 3D using three.js, transition that, have already been made, here take a look:

2D to 3D transition (Dolly Zoom)

The next steps will be adding the UI, enable the other type of enemies for testing purposes and start creating the visual identity of the game.

I wish I didn't find this jam when it was half-way through which prevented me from putting some makeup to the game but I'm also glad I participated and finally explored this idea in the open.

For legacy purposes the original jam entry will be available in this link.

Finally, in case you want to support the development I'll be accepting donations for the game but with a catch: donations can only be given in DOGE, here it is the address where you can donate if you wish to do so:

Thanks for checking this post out! I'll come with more updates soon.
